Kalender veröffentlicht – 22 Turniere zum Re-Start
Mitte März 2026 erfolgt in Brasilien der Re-Start für die neueste Auflage der IFA Faustball World Tour.
22 Turniere in sechs Ländern gehören dem Kalender an, darunter sechs Turniere in der höchsten Kategorie IFA 1.000. Die Top-Teams der World Tour 2026 sichern sich ihren Platz für die IFA World Tour Finals 2027.
Die internationale Faustball-Bühne meldet sich eindrucksvoll zurück: Mit 22 Turnieren in sechs Ländern feiert die IFA Faustball World Tour 2026 ihren Re-Start. Von Mitte März bis Ende August kämpfen die besten Vereinsmannschaften der Welt um Weltranglistenpunkte – und erstmals unter einem grundlegend überarbeiteten Wertungssystem.

Turnierserie startet in Südamerika
Der Startschuss fällt vom 21. bis 23. März im brasilianischen Novo Hamburgo. Beim „Copa Victor Körbes 2026“ (Kategorie IFA 600) werden die ersten Punkte der neuen World-Tour-Saison vergeben – und das an historischer Stätte: Auf dem Gelände des Ausrichters der FaustballWeltmeisterschaft der Männer 2027. Bereits ein Wochenende später wartet das erste sportliche Highlight der höchsten Kategorie. Vom 27. bis 29. März steht mit der „31ª Copa Porto Alegre Internacional de Punhobol“ das erste IFA1.000-Turnier auf dem Programm. Nach einer weiteren südamerikanischen Station im argentinischen Rosario (IFA 600) verlagert sich die World Tour Anfang April nach Europa.

Am 11. und 12. April werden in Karlsdorf (Internationales Faustballturnier Karlsdorf) und im schweizerischen Elgg (Eulach-Turnier) die ersten europäischen Punkte vergeben – beide Turniere gehören zur höchsten Kategorie IFA 1.000. Nur eine Woche später folgt mit den Pfister Stuttgart Open bereits das vierte Turnier dieser Stufe.

Meisten Turniere in Deutschland
Insgesamt umfasst der Kalender sechs IFA-1.000-Turniere, die im Sommer in der Schweiz komplettiert werden: mit den Obersee Masters in Jona (31. Juli bis 2. August) sowie dem Internationalen Grenzlandturnier in Widnau (7. bis 9. August). Das letzte europäische Turnier der Saison ist die 32. Internationale Condeli Trophy im österreichischen Reichenthal vom 22. bis 23. August (IFA 600). Den Abschluss der World-Tour-Saison bildet schließlich der Copa Mercês in Brasilien (IFA 600) vom 29. bis 30. August – ein Turnier, das in der Vergangenheit häufig den Auftakt markierte und nun das Finale der Serie bildet.

Mit sieben Turnieren ist Deutschland das am stärksten vertretene Gastgeberland. Dazu macht die World Tour auch traditionell in Asien wieder Station: Vom 22. bis 24. Mai gastiert die Turnierserie im indischen Pushpagiri.

Anmeldung für Teams bis 15. Februar
Neben dem Kalender bringt die neue Saison auch eine grundlegende Änderung im Wertungssystem mit sich. Nach der Überarbeitung durch eine eingesetzte Arbeitsgruppe zählen künftig alle erzielten Ergebnisse vollständig für die Weltrangliste. Das bisherige Prinzip der „besten fünf Resultate“ entfällt. Stattdessen gilt: Jedes gespielte Turnier bringt Punkte – und regelmäßige Teilnahme wird belohnt.

Ein zusätzlicher Anreiz: Die vier besten Teams der Gesamtwertung qualifizieren sich direkt für die Klub-Weltmeisterschaft – den IFA World Tour Finals – im Jahr 2027. Damit gewinnt die World Tour 2026 nicht nur an Umfang, sondern auch deutlich an sportlicher Bedeutung.  Teams können sich noch bis zum 15. Februar für die Teilnahme am Re-Start der World Tour 2026

Informationen zur International Fistball Association IFA
Die International Fistball Association (IFA) ist der Weltverband für die Sportart Faustball. Sie setzt sich aus den 68 in den jeweiligen Staaten anerkannten nationalen Verbänden zusammen, die in ihren Ländern das Faustballspiel (Feld- und Hallenfaustball) sowie die von der International Fistball Association betriebenen artverwandten Spiele betreuen. Gegründet wurde die IFA (früher Internationaler Faustball-Verband IFV) am 30. Januar 1960 in Frankfurt/Main. Der IFA steht ein 16-köpfiges Präsidium mit dem Brasilianer Gastao Englert als Präsidenten an der Spitze, Generalsekretär ist der Österreicher Christoph Oberlehner. Geführt wird der Weltverband von einem sechsköpfigen geschäftsführenden Vorstand.
Die International Fistball Association ist Träger der Faustball-Weltmeisterschaften für Frauen und Männer sowie in der U18-Klasse männlich und weiblich. Dazu führt die IFA die IFA Fistball World Tour für Vereine bei Frauen und Männer durch inkl. der World Tour Finals, dem bisherigen Worldcup, sowie Faustball Masters für Frauen und Männer über 35 Jahre. Faustball ist zudem auch Teil der World Games, einem internationalen Wettkampf in Sportarten, die nicht zum Wettkampf-Programm der Olympischen Spiele gehören, aber dennoch eine hohe weltweite Verbreitung haben. Im August 2025 fand die jüngste Ausgabe der World Games in Chengdu, China, statt.

Calendar released – 22 tournaments for the re-start
The re-start of the latest edition of the IFA Faustball World Tour will take place in Brazil in midMarch 2026.
The calendar includes 22 tournaments in six countries, among them six events in the top IFA 1,000 category. The top teams of the World Tour 2026 will secure their qualification for the IFA World Tour Finals 2027. The international fistball scene is making an impressive return: With 22 tournaments across six countries, the IFA Faustball World Tour 2026 celebrates its re-start. From mid-March to the end
of August, the world’s best club teams will compete for world ranking points – for the first time under a fundamentally revised scoring system.

Tournament series starts in South America
The season kicks off from 21 to 23 March in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. At the “Copa Victor Körbes 2026” (category IFA 600), the first points of the new World Tour season will be awarded – at a historic venue, as the site will host the Men’s Fistball World Championship 2027. Just one weekend later, the first major highlight of the highest category is on the schedule. From 27 to 29 March, the “31ª Copa Porto Alegre Internacional de Punhobol” marks the first IFA 1,000 tournament of the season. After another South American stop in Rosario, Argentina (IFA 600), the World Tour moves to Europe in early April. On 11 and 12 April, the first European ranking points will be awarded in Karlsdorf, Germany (International Fistball Tournament Karlsdorf) and Elgg, Switzerland (Eulach Tournament) – both events classified as IFA 1,000 tournaments. Just one week later, the Pfister Stuttgart Open will already represent the fourth tournament at this top level.

Most tournaments hosted in Germany
In total, the calendar features six IFA 1,000 tournaments, which will be completed during the summer in Switzerland with the Obersee Masters in Jona (31 July to 2 August) and the International Grenzland Tournament in Widnau (7 to 9 August). The final European event of the season will be the 32nd International Condeli Trophy in Reichenthal, Austria, from 22 to 23 August (IFA 600). The World Tour season will conclude in Brazil with the Copa Mercês (IFA 600) from 29
to 30 August – a tournament that has often opened the series in the past and will now serve as the season finale.
With seven tournaments, Germany is the most represented host country. In addition, the World Tour will once again stop in Asia: From 22 to 24 May, the series will be hosted in Pushpagiri, India.

Team registration open until 15 February
Alongside the published calendar, the new season also introduces a fundamental change to the ranking system. Following a revision by a dedicated working group, all results achieved by a team will now fully count toward the world ranking. The previous system of counting only the “best five results” has been abolished. Instead, every tournament played earns points – rewarding regular participation. An additional incentive: The top four teams in the overall standings will qualify directly for the club
world championship, the IFA World Tour Finals, in 2027. As a result, the World Tour 2026 not only expands in scale but also gains significantly in sporting importance.

Teams can register for participation in the re-start of the World Tour 2026 until 15 February.

Information about the International Fistball Association IFA
The International Fistball Association (IFA) is the world association for the sport of Fistball. It is made up of the 68 national federations recognized in the respective countries, which in their countries supervise the game of Fistball (outdoor and indoor Fistball) as well as the related games played by the International Fistball Association. The IFA (former Internationaler Faustball Verband) was founded in Frankfurt/Main on 30 January 1960. The IFA is headed by a 16-member executive committee with the Brazilian Gastao Englert as president, the secretary general is the Austrian Christoph Oberlehner. The world federation is led by a 6-member executive board. The International Fistball Association is the main organizing body of the Fistball World Championships for women and men as well as for under18-men and under18-women. IFA organizes the IFA Fistball World Tour for clubs of women and men including the World Tour Finals, the previous World Cup, as well as Fistball Masters for women and men over 35 years. Fistball is also an essential part of the World Games, an international competition in sports that are not part of the Olympic Games‘ competition program but are nevertheless widely distributed worldwide. In August 2025 the last World Games took place in Chengdu, China.
