IFA Klub-Weltmeisterschaft 2026: Club Llanquihue richtet internationales Top-Event aus

IFA_16.10.2025  Die Klub-Weltmeisterschaften der Männer und Frauen 2026 finden in Chile statt. Der Club Gimnástico Alemán Llanquihue wird das Event der jeweils sechs Männer- und Frauenteams ausrichten. Stattfinden wird die viertägige Veranstaltung vom 29. Oktober bis 1. November.
Die besten Faustball-Vereinsteams der Welt zu Gast in Chile: Vom 29. Oktober bis 1. November wird der Club Gimnástico Alemán Llanquihue die Faustball-Klub-Weltmeisterschaften der Männer und Frauen austragen. Der erfahrene Ausrichter von internationalen Events erhielt nach dem durchlaufenen Bewerbungsprozess den Zuschlag durch das Präsidium der International Fistball Association. „Wir freuen uns, die besten Vereinsteams der Welt im nächsten Jahr in Llanquihue zu begrüßen“, sagt Gastão Englert, Präsident der International Fistball Association: „Der Club Llanquihue hat bereits in der Vergangenheit bewiesen, dass er internationale Events hervorragend organisiert. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass auch die Klub-Weltmeisterschaft wieder ein großartiges Event wird.“

Premiere für erfahrenen Organisator.
Nationale Titelkämpfe, Südamerika- und Panamerika-Meisterschaften, die Weltmeisterschaften der Senioren, die Männer-Weltmeisterschaft 1992 und die zweimalige Austragung der U18-Weltmeisterschaften, zuletzt im Herbst 2024 – die Liste von Faustball-Veranstaltungen ist lang. Und dennoch werden die Klub-Weltmeisterschaften im nächsten Jahr eine Premiere im Süden Chiles. „Ein internationales Klub-Event haben wir in unserer Geschichte noch nicht organisiert“, sagt Felipe Werner, Präsident des Club Gimnástico Alemán de Llanquihue: „Die Ausrichtung der Klub-Weltmeisterschaft wollen wir insbesondere für die lokale und regionale Entwicklung unseres Sports nutzen.“ Bei der Organisation will der Verein dabei auch von den Erfahrungen der U18-Weltmeisterschaften profitieren, die vor einem Jahr auf dem Gelände direkt am See Llanquihue stattfanden. „Vieles von diesem Know-how wird auch in die Klub-Weltmeisterschaft einfließen“, betont Ignacio Narvaez, Chef des Organisationskomitees.
„Wir haben eine aussagekräftige Bewerbung aus Llanquihue bekommen, die in der Bewertung unserer Jury sehr gute Noten erhalten hat“, sagt Sönke Spille, IFA Head of Events: „Für die U18-Weltmeisterschaften hat der Club im vergangenen Jahr optimale Voraussetzungen geschaffen. Es war eine sehr vertrauensvolle Zusammenarbeit. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass wir bereits zwei Jahre später erneut auf einem der schönsten Faustball-Gelände der Welt zu Gast sind.“

Erste Teams bereits qualifiziert
Mit dem Aussetzen der World Tour 2025 wird sich auch das Format der Klub-Weltmeisterschaft im Vergleich zu den zuletzt ausgetragenen IFA World Tour Finals verändern. Jeweils sechs Mannschaften der Männer und Frauen qualifizieren sich für die Titelkämpfe. Dazu zählen die kontinentalen Champions und Silbermedaillengewinner aus Europa und Südamerika. Hinzu kommt – nach festgelegten Kriterien – ein Champion aus Nordamerika, Afrika, Asien oder Ozeanien. Komplettiert wird das Starterfeld mit den beiden Gastgeber-Teams des Club Gimnástico Alemán Llanquihue. In Europa haben sich über den Champions Cup die Teams vom FBC LINZ AG Urfahr (Österreich) und TSV Pfungstadt (Deutschland) bei den Männern sowie der Ahlhorner SV und TV Jahn Schneverdingen (beide Deutschland) bei den Frauen für die Klub-Weltmeisterschaft 2026 qualifiziert. In Südamerika haben am vergangenen Wochenende bei den Männern der neue Südamerika-Cup-Sieger SG Novo Hamburgo (Brasilien) und Silbermedaillengewinner C.C.A.A. Rosario (Argentinien) sowie bei den Frauen SOGIPA/Cargo Way (Brasilien) und C.C.A.A. Rosario (Argentinien) sich die Tickets für das Event in Chile gesichert. Das endgültige Starterfeld soll bis Ende November feststehen.

Informationen zur International Fistball Association IFA
Die International Fistball Association (IFA) ist der Weltverband für die Sportart Faustball. Sie setzt sich aus den 68 in den jeweiligen Staaten anerkannten nationalen Verbänden zusammen, die in ihren Ländern das Faustballspiel (Feld- und Hallenfaustball) sowie die von der International Fistball Association betriebenen artverwandten Spiele betreuen. Gegründet wurde die IFA (früher Internationaler Faustball-Verband IFV) am 30. Januar 1960 in Frankfurt/Main.
Der IFA steht ein 16-köpfiges Präsidium mit dem Brasilianer Gastao Englert als Präsidenten an der Spitze, Generalsekretär ist der Österreicher Christoph Oberlehner. Geführt wird der Weltverband von einem fünfköpfigen geschäftsführenden Präsidium.
Die International Fistball Association ist Träger der Faustball-Weltmeisterschaften für Frauen und Männer sowie in der U18-Klasse männlich und weiblich. Dazu führt die IFA die IFA Fistball World Tour für Vereine bei Frauen und Männer durch inkl. der World Tour Finals, dem bisherigen Worldcup, sowie Faustball Masters für Frauen und Männer über 35 Jahre. Faustball ist zudem auch Teil der World Games, einem internationalen Wettkampf in Sportarten, die nicht zum Wettkampf-Programm der Olympischen Spiele gehören, aber dennoch eine hohe weltweite Verbreitung haben. Im August 2025 fand die jüngste Ausgabe der World Games in Chengdu, China, statt.

IFA Club World Cup 2026: Club Llanquihue to Host International Top Event
The 2026 Men’s and Women’s Club World Cup will take place in Chile. Club Gimnástico Alemán de Llanquihue will host the event featuring six men’s and six women’s teams. The four-day tournament will be held from October 29 to November 1.
The world’s best fistball club teams will gather in Chile: From October 29 to November 1, Club Gimnástico Alemán de Llanquihue will host the Men’s and Women’s Fistball Club World Cup. The experienced organizer of international events was awarded the hosting rights following the application process and the decision of the International Fistball Association (IFA) Board. “We are delighted to welcome the world’s best club teams to Llanquihue next year,” said IFA President Gastão Englert. “Club Llanquihue has already demonstrated its ability to organize international events at the highest level. We are confident that the Club World Cup will once again be a great success.”

A Premiere for an Experienced Organizer
National championships, South American and Pan American Championships, the Masters World Championships, the Men’s World Championship in 1992, and the twice-hosted U18 World Championships, most recently in autumn 2024 – the list of fistball events is long. Yet, the Club World Cup next year will be a premiere in southern Chile. “We have never organized an international club event in our history,” said Felipe Werner, President of Club Gimnástico Alemán de Llanquihue. “We want to use the hosting of the Club World Cup also for the local and regional development of our sport.” The club also plans to benefit from the experience gained from hosting the U18 World Championships just one year ago, held on the grounds directly by Lake Llanquihue. “Much of this know-how will also be applied to the Club World Cup,” emphasized Ignacio Narvaez, Head of the Organizing Committee.
“We received a very strong application from Llanquihue, which was rated highly by our jury,” said IFA Head of Events Sönke Spille. “For the U18 World Championships, the club created optimal conditions last year. It was a very trustworthy and professional collaboration. We are all the more pleased to be returning just two years later to one of the most beautiful fistball venues in the world.”
First Teams Already Qualified
With the suspension of the World Tour in 2025, the format of the Club World Cup will differ from the previously staged IFA World Tour Finals. Six men’s and six women’s teams will qualify for the tournament. These include the continental champions and runners-up from Europe and South America. In addition, based on set criteria, one champion from North America, Africa, Asia, or Oceania will join the competition. The line-up will be completed by the two host teams from Club Gimnástico Alemán de Llanquihue. In Europe, qualification through the Champions Cup has already been secured by FBC LINZ AG Urfahr (Austria) and TSV Pfungstadt (Germany) in the men’s category, as well as Ahlhorner SV and TV Jahn Schneverdingen (both Germany) in the women’s category. In South America last weekend, the new South American Cup winners SG Novo Hamburgo (Brazil) and silver medalists C.C.A.A. Rosario (Argentina) in the men’s competition, and SOGIPA/Cargo Way (Brazil) and C.C.A.A. Rosario (Argentina) in the women’s competition, secured their tickets to the event in Chile. The final line-up of participating teams is expected to be confirmed by the end of November.

Information about the International Fistball Association IFA
The International Fistball Association (IFA) is the world association for the sport of Fistball. It is made up of the 68 national feder-ations recognized in the respective countries, which in their countries supervise the game of Fistball (outdoor and indoor Fistball) as well as the related games played by the International Fistball Association. The IFA (former Internationaler Faustball Verband) was founded in Frankfurt/Main on 30 January 1960.
The IFA is headed by a 16-member executive committee with the Brazilian Gastao Englert as president, the secretary general is the Austrian Christoph Oberlehner. The world federation is led by a 5-member executive board.
The International Fistball Association is the main organizing body of the Fistball World Championships for women and men as well as for under18-men and under18-women. IFA organizes the IFA Fistball World Tour for clubs of women and men including the World Tour Finals, the previous World Cup, as well as Fistball Masters for women and men over 35 years. Fistball is also an essential part of the World Games, an international competition in sports that are not part of the Olympic Games‘ competition program but are nevertheless widely distributed worldwide. In August 2025 the last World Games took place in Chengdu, China.
